Hi, I'm Jenny! I've accumulated 10+ years experience in Special Education! I'm a high-quality professional with expertise in educating preschool - 4th grade with: AD/HD (Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit & Hyper Activity Disorder), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), echolalia, and behavior challenges, dyslexia, general LD (Learning Disabilities), etc. I'm experienced in teaching emotional regulation and helping children learn how to problem solve so eventually they can learn self-sufficiency and mastery in everything they do! I'm also experienced in the tools needed to turn a disability into just a simple, reasonable accommodation, such as utilization of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), time management tools, executive functioning strategies, IEP (Individual Education Plan) integration, consistency accompanied with novelty, etc.

I earned a degree and Child Development Supervisor Permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, while achieving a prominent place on the Dean's Honor Roll. I also participate in various, ongoing Professional Growth and Development classes to keep up to date on the latest discoveries in the field of Child Development.

I tutor all subjects between grades Pre-K-4th grade: phonics, early reading, writing, addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc. I'm above average when it comes to shy and anxiety-driven kids, too - it's not just neurodivergent students who I get to exceed goals and expectations!

I've acquired an extensive amount of experience and education. However, I don't really like to even say that because what really makes me so good teaching is the amount of understanding, caring and patience I have for even the slowest learners. It is through these qualities that makes me able to really reach kids. I not only help them pass their classes - but we even have fun learning, while developing self-esteem and self-mastery - and THAT'S where the REAL value is! Book a session today to empower your kid's future!
