Hi, I'm Grace, a trained creative writer turned two-time Russell Group alumnus. I’ve helped students craft impactful personal statements, from the Common Application to UCAS and on to graduate roles in professional industries.

I graduated from the Creative Writing Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts in 2016. I pursued my higher education in the UK, achieving a History and International Relations BA with honors from King's College London in 2019 (31 in the QS World Rankings), followed by an MSc in Intellectual History from the University of Edinburgh (34 in the QS World rankings).

I have a unique understanding of the challenges applicants face in an increasingly competitive academic and professional landscape. Having worked in graduate recruitment at an international law firm in London, I screened thousands of written applications. I know where strong applicants falter in their personal statement and how to course correct. I've also seen how the right approach to personal statements takes an application to the next level.

My passion lies in helping students craft their story into a compelling personal statement that resonates with admission committees.

Beyond college application essays, my tutoring experience spans several subjects, from academic to creative writing (inclusive of film and TV writing), graduate role applications, and AP History courses. I've worked with both applicants and students from diverse backgrounds, from high school students to mature students, and career changers, from the US and across the pond, from London to Singapore.
