Hello! I’m Tiffany, and I love educating. I graduated summa cum laude with my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. As a college student, I worked for the chemistry department as a TA and a tutor for general and organic chemistry. After a bit of experience working in the analytical chemistry industry, I moved on to teach high school chemistry and math at an elite college-prep private school. In addition to building the curriculum and teaching in the classroom, I also spent time tutoring students who needed additional support in a one-on-one setting. I loved building relationships with students in the classroom, but ultimately found that I enjoyed teaching one-on-one more than in a classroom environment.
I currently work for a major text book company as a chemistry specialist. My primary responsibility is updating and adapting practice problems for the online learning program, as well as authoring guided solutions and explanations for each problem. I have a lot of experience creating step by step guides for understanding and solving difficult chemistry and math concepts.
With over 6 years of experience in science and math education, I am highly qualified to tutor any student who wants to excel in chemistry or math.
