As a professional in the field, he really knows his stuff, including how to handle any issues that arise.
I teach for the sole-soul passion of sharing knowledge. Anytime we learn we find ways to incorporate these newly acquired skills into our life and toolset, which makes us better at what we do, but rarely do we learn how each one of us can use these in new and different combinations to get in the better flow of things. That's what it's about, finding that flow. Each one of us has a very unique way to get there, and I love guiding others to those new areas of self-discovery.

I had a big After Effects project due in 2 days and wasn’t sure how to do it. He answered my message for help in like 20 minutes and met with me for 2 days, 7 hours total and helped me get it done. I'm on East Coast, he's West Coast and stayed up to help me. He's an Animation expert.

Sahid is an excellent teacher!! I can't overstate how much he helped me today, I will 100% be booking another lesson with him. He was extremely knowledgable about After Effects and VFX concepts in general, which for a newbie like me, put my mind at ease. I work in the film industry and was having a hard time finding people to walk me through the basics of VFX specifically in After Effects. I decided to pay for some professional help and I'm so glad that I did, not only do I feel confident moving forward with what I learned today, but I now have a tutor I feel comfortable asking questions in the future. Sahid is super friendly, easy to communicate with, with a good sense of humor, stable internet connection and great teaching skills. A-MAZING!
My request was to learn how to use After Effects in conjunction with Envato Elements. Honestly, I didn't realize how advanced AE was until I realized that I was having a real hard time finding YouTube videos using the two platforms. I happen to find this site and looked through the reviews, and chose Sahid. I'm SOOOOO glad I did. He goes into great detail which at first, was overwhelming for me, but then we started to put the pieces together and I was able to understand it and got a sense of flow. My homework is to continue to playing with AE so I can continue to get faster and better at it. He is a wiz at it and uses Envato frequently. He knows all the shortcuts (and short comings of the app). We spent about two hours on this and I recorded it so I can use it as reference, but I'm still going to book him again. I have to fix my logo and do some other things. Maybe take up Adobe Premier next? Who knows.! Thanks Sahid!!!

Knowledgeable and patient tutor
I came to Sahid because I was working on personal video project. I wanted to apply some color grading which was something I was inexperienced with. During the hour we had together, he explained to me how to use lumetri color and scopes and how each feature affects the color of the video. By the end our session I felt more comfortable using the different features inside of lumetri and my project looked much better than when I started.

Extremely Patient Tutor
I am into the dissertation data collection and analysis stage of my doctoral work, and hit a roadblock with a requirement that I utilize broadcast quality studio interviews of subjects, and produce a work product suitable for a documentary/tutorial for graduate students. Although many years ago I was in the news and TV industry, it predated all of the super high tech editing and storage and retrieval programs. I also needed excerpts of video recordings for Focus Groups. Perhaps more than a year ago, Sahid slowly helped me out with some audio/visual presentation issues for a research class, and now, in the past few sessions he has been patient, calm, informative, and providing positive reinforcement for my work. Being in the Pacific Time Zone, while I am in Florida, has been a plus since my own work schedule usually makes late night work and study mandatory. Sahid has been available nights and weekends, recommended student discount subscriptions on state-of-the-art cloud editing programs, and allowed me to work at my own pace and then return for updates and the next step in my learning curve. As an older student, his generous time and patience with computer-challenged learners is so deeply appreciated. But, most importantly I think as a true endorsement of Wyzant, is that this tutor, Sahid is a PROFESSIONAL PRACTITIONER in the field. I am being tutored by a graduate level instructor in graphics, video, editing, sound, voice/over narrations, animation, sound and visual enhancement and correction of deficient levels in original recordings---Wyzant is not just an ‘IT Help Line.” Sahid is the consummate ambassador of professional knowledge and accomplishment and skills to teach. AMAZING After Effects Tutor!!!
I had a very urgent project that needed to get completed by using After Effects, a tool I have VERY little skill or confidence in. Within 4 hours, we not only completed the project together, and made it look AMAZING, but I also learned more in that time frame than I have in taking weeks worth of other classes. He was super patient, incredibly knowledgable, and helped me beyond measure!! It made a huge difference in my understanding of After Effects and it was only our first lesson. I am looking forward to our next lesson and continuing to learn more from him in After Effects and Premiere. I can't recommend him enough if you're looking to master photoshop or video/motion/animation!
