Ruben provided tutoring services for my son in Pre-Calc and Calculus and helped him achieve very good grades at a demanding college prep high school. I only wish that my son’s high school teachers were as thorough, exceptional, and reliable as Ruben was. Despite his very busy schedule, Ruben never let us down. My son has always struggled in math. He worked hard at learning it but it did not come easy. While pursuing his Welding AS at Las Positas, it was necessary to pass Trigonometry. Since he did not take Algebra 2 in high school, this seemed like an insurmountable task. Fast forward to us hiring Ruben S. as my son's tutor. Ruben is reliable, calm, encouraging and supportive. We started the class with Ruben in early July. Before this, my daughter struggled a lot with her maths not only because she didn't catch up well at school but also because she didn't build good learning habits. she cannot finish homework, and it is very hard for her to concentrate. very lucky we chose Ruben as her tutor. everything changed slowly now. I’m extremely grateful to have had Mr. Ruben as my AP Calc AB teacher this year. With his expert knowledge and help, I’ve become much more confident in understanding difficult concepts in Calculus.
