Hello Everyone! I'm Rishav! I graduated with High Honors from my high school, and now attend the University of California at Los Angeles, where I study Cognitive Science, specializing in Computing. I have worked, and currently work as a Math Teaching Assistant for three years at an Academy for elementary to high school students. Furthermore, I worked as part of an extended learning tutor from my high school, where I specialized not only in one-on-one scaffolded instruction, but also in holding discussion sections for high school students. My extensive tutoring experience covers students from grades 1-12, including Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), College, and SAT preparation. My pedagogy relies on meeting the learning needs of my students, which involves assessing how my students learn best, scaffolding, and providing direct feedback, instructional help, and additional practice depending on their needs.
