As a Biology major with minors in Chemistry and Business, I am committed to pursuing a path of cancer research. Currently in my last semester of undergrad, I plan to begin my PhD this fall (2026). I have developed a well-rounded foundation in biological sciences including genetics, microbiology, cell biology, immunology, and molecular biology. Additionally, I have a profound record in organic chemistry and biochemistry.
I have experience tutoring general chemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, and molecular biology. I aim to manipulate my teaching strategies in ways that best tailor to the students. Some techniques I have previously used are open note "whiteboard" discussions, quiz-based sessions, visual representations (including development of diagrams, flow charts, etc.), and I highly encourage the used of analogies and mnemonics in any course.
I am a firm believer in not only helping students get the right answer, but understanding how to get there while building their confidence for the subject. Lastly, I like to employ strategies that will not only help in the classroom, but life situations as well. I look forward to working with any and all students!
