As a theater/English teacher, I developed mentoring relationships with students that continued past their graduations from high school and into college. I proofread and advised on papers in various disciplines at both undergraduate and graduate levels. My mentees have earned degrees from The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Sarah Lawrence College, University of California-Berkeley, Stanford University, and most recently Harvard Law School.
I have nearly 50 years of experience in theater. Before teaching, I was a professional stage manager (Actors Equity Association) and earned a Masters Degree in directing theater. I have taught theater to high school students and produced and directed over 50 productions in that capacity. Currently, I am president of the board and producer/director for Actors Ensemble of Berkeley and am a board member at large for the Ross Valley Players.
I would love to help you become the best communicator you can be.
