I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics with a minor in CalTeach, an education program focused on developing STEM educators and I am currently in the process of earning my Teaching Credential in Mathematics. Through my coursework, I built a strong foundation in pedagogical methods, classroom management, and student-centered learning strategies and emphasized not only mathematical proficiency but also effective ways to make complex topics accessible through inquiry-based and hands-on approaches.

My tutoring and teaching experience spans both individual and group settings. I worked as a tutor and mentor for the East Bay Consortium (EBSCC), where I provided one-on-one and small group tutoring in subjects such as algebra, geometry, and calculus. In this role, I also supported students with college readiness, career exploration, and financial aid workshops. I further developed my instructional skills as a Pre-Collegiate Academy prospective math teacher, where I co-taught mathematics alongside a credentialed educator to middle school students. This experience strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, integrate manipulatives, and guide cooperative problem-solving.

I have tutored students ranging from middle school to high school, both in-person and remotely, tailoring my methods to meet their individual learning needs. My approach focuses on fostering confidence, encouraging conceptual understanding, and promoting persistence when facing challenging material. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging actively with their learning.
