I bring more than 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience working with high school students, college students, and adult learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I earned my undergraduate degree in Political Science from CSU and later completed Single Subject Teaching Credentials in both Spanish and English through Dominican University of California. I also hold a Master’s degree in Online Teaching and Learning from CSU, which strengthened my ability to design engaging, personalized instruction for diverse learners in both virtual and in-person environments.
Throughout my career, I have taught Spanish at multiple levels, including AP Spanish Language & Culture and AP Spanish Literature, while also specializing in English support for multilingual learners. As a native Spanish speaker from Spain, I bring both linguistic authenticity and cultural depth to my instruction. My teaching approach focuses on helping students build real confidence and long-term academic independence. I use highly structured, step-by-step instruction that breaks down complex concepts into manageable parts while still maintaining high expectations. I tailor each session to the student’s individual goals, strengths, and learning style. My sessions emphasize clear explanations, real-world communication, critical thinking, and consistent feedback that leads to measurable progress.
