My name is Ainsley and I am eager to contribute my skills and experience as a tutor in order to benefit the young minds who are and are not ready to learn. My academic background includes an Associate’s Degree in Childhood and Adolescent Development and I am currently working on my Bachelors Degree in Childhood Development and Education at Cal State Long Beach. These qualifications have equipped me with a solid understanding of educational principles and knowledge, which I am excited to share with students.
Throughout this time, I have worked with students ranging from elementary to middle school ages, providing one-on-one tutoring and classroom support. My tutoring approach is centered around creating a supporting and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts. I utilize a variety of teaching methods including hands on learning, visual aids, and personalized learning plans, in order to cater to each students unique learning style.
My experience includes volunteer tutoring, neighborhood and personal friends, as well as my nannying jobs. I have consistently helped students improve their academic performance and build confidence in their abilities. I am committed to fostering a love of learning and empowering students to achieve their full potential and am beyond enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my passion and expertise to your tutoring program.
