I am a film and video editor with 15 years of experience, working on TV series, documentaries, talk shows, news, trailers, commercials, and motion pictures both in the United States and abroad. A decade ago, back in Russia, when I had my first child, I couldn't continue working at the studios. That's when I started teaching editing at home. I am a film and video editor with 15 years of experience, working on TV series, documentaries, talk shows, news, trailers, commercials, and motion pictures both in the United States and abroad. A decade ago, back in Russia, when I had my first child, I couldn't continue working at the studios. That's when I started teaching editing at home. This humble beginning eventually evolved into my own video editing school, known as Moscow Screen Studio. I designed a course focused on practical, hands-on knowledge with minimal theory, offering exercises, and personalized feedback. 58 students have completed the course, and over 100 have taken private lessons with me.
In 2016, I relocated to California and resumed my career as an editor. The last documentary I edited was showcased at The Hitching Post Theater in Tehachapi, California, and it is now a part of a local history museum's exhibition. Another documentary, in which I worked as an assistant editor, is scheduled for release on Amazon later this year. Additionally, the sci-fi short film "The Rising" was screened in Laemmle and Chinese Movie theaters in Hollywood and won "The Best Sci-fi Short Film" and "The Best Conspiracy Thriller" Awards at the Silicon Beach Film Festival and the LA Independent Women Film Festival.

I also help young professionals to kickstart their careers as video editors. After graduating from the School of Television in Russia, I worked as a film editor for seven years, cutting news, documentaries, and tv-series for federal Russian channels. Then I worked for two years as an assistant director and an editor on live talk shows broadcasted in ten countries in prime time. In the United States, I completed a Certificate Post-production program and continued my career as an editor. The last documentary I edited was screened in The Hitching Post Theater in Tehachapi, California. This film about the Tehachapi Earthquake of 1952 is now displayed as a part of the permanent exhibition in the local history museum and is sold on DVD-s. I also edit commercials, trailers, and short films.
