Hi! I'm Isita (Pronounced ee-Shee-ta) T! I live in the sunny state of California, right in Silicon Valley. Throughout my high school years, I have taken and excelled at many Advance Placement (AP) Exams and standardized tests. I acknowledge and appreciate how important these classes and tests are to furthering a student’s career and college prospects. I also genuinely adore the subjects I’ve learned and want to teach other aspiring students about them.

Hi! I'm Isita (Pronounced ee-Shee-ta) T! I live in the sunny state of California, right in Silicon Valley. Throughout my high school years, I have taken and excelled at many Advance Placement (AP) Exams and standardized tests. I acknowledge and appreciate how important these classes and tests are to furthering a student’s career and college prospects. I also genuinely adore the subjects I’ve learned and want to teach other aspiring students about them.

I have been teaching in volunteer positions for a variety of age groups, from being a coding teacher for K-5 students, to a peer tutor and TA for middle and high school students. I love being able to inspire students to chase their success and watching them learn more about the subjects they take and their own learning style.

I would be honored to meet all of you as my students and pass down the tips and tricks I’ve learned throughout school.

ACT Math: I have received a 36 on the Math portion of the ACT exam and know how to articulate the knowledge that has gotten me there.

AP Calculus: I have received a 5/5 on both the 2019 AP Calculus AB and 2020 AP Calculus BC exams. I am currently taking Differential Equations and Multivariable Calculus in school, furthering my mathematical knowledge.

AP Statistics: I have received a 5/5 on the 2021 AP Statistics Exam, so I understand both the content and the most up-to-date format of the exam.

I have been working on Python-based projects for 4 years of high school, some of which have won regional science fairs and competed at a state level. I have also interned with a data scientist at the Stanford Natural Capital Project, where I worked on python-based projects for three years.

AP European History: I have received a 5/5 on the 2020 AP European History Exam, so I understand both the content and the most up-to-date format of the exam. I have also won my school's Distinguished Student of European History Award for my expertise and excellence in the subjects.

I dont often leave reviews but I have to say in this case it's a must! Isita is wonderful! My son is in 10th grade and taking his first AP class. He has been struggling with the DBQs/LEQs and started to get so discouraged that he'd never understand them. After his first lesson with Isita he had a boost of confidence and better understanding. I honestly was not sure how well he'd like the online tutoring as he was definitely not a fan of online school during the pandemic. However he said he really likes it and feels like it has already helped him to better understand the DBQs. After talking to Isita initially i was so excited for him to at least try one lesson. He really did not want to as he is a bit on the shy side. But he did anyway. So to hear him say he enjoys the lesso

Excellent Tutor

My daughter had a Calculus lesson with Isita, she has mastery over the subject, she was so fluent with explaining the concepts and was ready with resources. She didn't know ahead of the lesson what topics my daughter needed help with, but as soon as she got on the call, she was immediately teaching the topic in depth, I have rarely seen that kind of mastery on Calculus.
