I’ve been an actor since 2006 with extensive experience acting in commercials, industrials, web series, TV shows, feature films, and stage productions. As a writer, I earned my MFA in Writing and Producing for Television from Loyola Marymount University. I’ve had 5 short plays receive staged readings, 3 short plays receive fully mounted productions, and I currently have a one-act and a full length play in development. I’ve written and performed two one-man shows in San Francisco to glowing reviews.
For the last five years, I’ve taught Screenwriting, Acting, Directing, and Podcasting to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am well versed in teaching these subjects and working with my students to hone their skills and learn new skills. I’ve supervised and managed the filmmaking process all the way from ideation to post-production.
The subjects I teach are unique in that they require the student (you) to be vulnerable and step out of your comfort zone. It’s terrifying. But I foster an environment that is safe. I will never shame any of my students for anything they perform or write. Even if you don’t want to be an actor, but just want to be a more confident public speaker…I can help you get there. I will always give you supportive feedback that is actionable. Together, we will work to figure out your goals and I’ll craft a way for us to get you there.
