I have had the pleasure of working as a private in-home tutor for over 15 years. My focus is on phonics, language arts, and reading comprehension. I incorporate positive affirmations into my daily teachings to help the kids feel powerful and confident to solve their own problems. Ms. Sally is a wonderful tutor. She always arrives on time, is extremely thoughtful and considerate, and the kids love her. The amount of things she teaches in a single hour is equivalent to a full day in elementary school. Highly recommended!

Knowledgeable, fun and patient tutor
We hired Sally to tutor our 6 year old in reading, twice a week, this summer. Sally came in with a great deal of knowledge in terms of helping students learn to read. My daughter is full of energy and loves to share her ideas. Sally patiently channeled that energy towards learning new sight words, sounding out letters, and much more, all the while encouraging my daughters curious and imaginative nature. Because of Sally's tutoring we feel our daughter is well equipped in both her reading skills and self-confidence to start 1st grade this week. Along with these reasons, Sally is also very punctual, easy to talk to and just a pleasure to be around. My daughter truly enjoyed learning from Sally this summer and I loved having her in my home.
