Bio

I am a Researcher and an Engineer with a PhD degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, with professional experience in Silicon Valley robotics in California, USA, where I worked on very technically demanding problems in estimation, perception, and programming. I am a Researcher and an Engineer with a PhD degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, with professional experience in Silicon Valley robotics in California, USA, where I worked on very technically demanding problems in estimation, perception, and programming. I used to teach advanced Signal Analysis at Cambridge (small groups of around 2-4 students every week), and other engineering subjects both at undergraduate and graduate levels (including PhD level). Also, I thought a lot of math and CS at the University of Munich in Germany. I focus on a deep understanding, not memorization, and I tailor each session to the student’s level and goals. I enjoy helping motivated high-school, college, and adult learners build confidence with difficult material, whether that means mastering fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, or getting unstuck on advanced technical (course)work. My teaching style is clear, structured, and patient, and I aim to make complex ideas approachable while still holding students to a high standard.

Approved Subjects

Machine Learning/ AI

Machine Learning/ AI

I’m a Cambridge PhD Engineer with strong applied experience in AI-related systems from my work in autonomous driving, where I worked on real-world perception, estimation, and intelligent robotics problems. My background combines mathematical depth with practical engineering, so I can help students not only understand AI and machine learning concepts, but also see how they are used in demanding real-world systems. I’m especially well suited to tutor ambitious students in AI, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, probabilistic modeling, and related quantitative subjects at a serious technical level. My teaching style is strongest for students who want clear explanations, rigorous thinking, and help bridging theory and practice.
Robotics

Robotics

I’m a Cambridge PhD Engineer with hands-on industry experience in robotics and SLAM from my work at an autonomous driving company, where I worked on real-world perception and estimation problems rather than only theory. My background includes sensor fusion, state estimation, and the practical challenges of making multi-sensor robotics systems work reliably with camera, IMU, LiDAR, and GNSS data. I also founded a robotics calibration company, where I focus on multi-sensor self-calibration, so I can help students understand both the mathematics and the engineering realities behind modern robotic systems. I’m especially well suited to tutor ambitious students in robotics, SLAM, estimation, sensor fusion, and calibration at a deep technical level.
