I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Disability Studies and Human Development & Family Sciences. I have over five years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
I am currently a Therapeutic Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting, supporting students primarily in grades 3–5 through individualized and small-group instruction. My experience includes providing targeted academic interventions in reading, writing, and math, as well as supporting executive functioning skills such as organization, task initiation, and self-regulation.
I regularly work with students with IEPs, including those with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral needs. My instructional approach is structured, patient, and strengths-based, with an emphasis on building confidence, skill development, and meaningful progress.
