Hello, I'm Faizan! I’m currently a college student majoring in Computer Science, and I’ve recently completed my transfer from community college to a four-year university. I’ve always had a passion for learning and teaching, and I’m excited to bring that energy to tutoring. I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA, where I completed advanced coursework in Math II, Math III, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP English Language. In community college, I maintained a 3.7 GPA while completing a rigorous sequence of math courses including Calculus I through IV, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.

My tutoring approach is focused on building true understanding rather than memorization. I believe in meeting students where they are, breaking down difficult concepts into digestible parts, and working through problems together step-by-step. I aim to create a supportive, judgment-free space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—that’s where real learning happens. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing for exams, or reinforcing class lectures, I tailor my sessions to fit the individual needs and learning style of each student.

I’ve helped peers in both high school and college with topics ranging from algebra and trigonometry to advanced calculus and discrete math, in both one-on-one and small group settings. I enjoy explaining concepts in multiple ways to make sure they truly click.
