I graduated high school in 2025 with CSF/NHS honors, maintaining straight As (no A-s), weighted GPA of 4.68, unweighted GPA 4.00. I scored 1570 on the SAT and 1520 on the PSAT, earning a $2500 National Merit Scholarship. I’ve received 5s in AP Biology, Calculus AB/BC, Chemistry, English Literature/Language, Psychology, and US/World History.
I’m also a 2-time USABO Semifinalist, and have received 2 gold and 3 silver medals from other biology/medicine olympiads. I served as president of my high school’s medicine and biology clubs since junior year, leading both clubs to an attendance of 20+ members per meeting. I taught content with short presentations, practice questions, and online/hands-on activities.
Outside of academics, I’ve published peer-reviewed research in antibiotic resistance and substance use, served as a peer reviewer for a high school journal, and previously tutored for San Jose Public Library. I’ve also been a competitive recurve archer the past 8 years.
At UC Berkeley, I’ve maintained a 4.00 GPA and membership on the Dean’s List with Honors. I have experience with college coursework in general chemistry/biology/psychology, organic chemistry, introductory physics, calculus for the life sciences, and public health. My goal is to help any student succeed with their academic and extracurricular pursuits, whether in junior high, high school, or college.
If you’re a student or parent or know someone looking for tutoring/test preparation (AP, PSAT, SAT, USABO, HSPT, etc.), I understand the content and skills are necessary for success. My teaching helps students quickly internalize and then consistently apply information to challenging problems. Also having gone through high school and college applications, happy to answer any questions.
