I earned my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a concentration in Astronautics and minors in Mathematics, Space Physics, Propulsion, and Computer Science. My academic path has been rigorous and hands-on, giving me a deep understanding of physics, calculus, mechanics, and programming. These are subjects I’ve grown to love and enjoy helping others understand. What has motivated me most as a tutor and peer mentor is watching that moment when something “clicks” for a student, and I strive to make those moments happen as often as possible.
I’ve served as a teaching assistant for a Structural Mechanics course, where I helped students navigate topics like stress analysis, shear and moment diagrams, and finite element methods using ANSYS. I also worked closely with students in one-on-one and small group settings, breaking down difficult concepts and encouraging them to think critically and ask questions. Outside the classroom, I mentored younger students in my university’s Rocket Development Lab, guiding them through everything from propulsion theory to hands-on rocket testing. I’ve worked with students of different academic levels and learning styles, and I always aim to build a supportive, judgment-free environment where they feel confident asking for help.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex ideas in a way that feels approachable and grounded in real-world applications. I’ve been in the student’s seat, so I know exactly how overwhelming some of these subjects can feel. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students get through homework problems, but to help them build lasting confidence in their abilities and see the subject as something they can master and even enjoy.
