Hi! My name's Lee, and I recently graduated from Stanford University with a degree in International Relations. With a perfect 800 in Math on both the SAT and PSAT, I bring a strong foundation in standardized test preparation and mathematics. My personal scores—1560 on the SAT and 1510 on the PSAT (99th percentile)—demonstrate my expertise and commitment to academic excellence, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their highest potential on these exams.
In addition to my test prep experience, I have extensive tutoring and mentoring background. During high school, I founded two impactful tutoring programs: a language mentoring initiative that connected high school tutors with middle school students in Spanish and French, and a branch of Aequora, a non-profit dedicated to providing literacy classes in Spanish, English, and Latin for Somali immigrant children. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's needs.
Furthermore, I served as a tutor in both English and Math at Stanford’s East Palo Alto Stanford Academy, where I worked with students from a range of academic backgrounds and helped them navigate their coursework and standardized tests. This experience strengthened my ability to break down complex topics into manageable, easy-to-understand concepts.
Whether you need assistance with SAT/ACT prep or are looking to build a solid foundation in math, I’m committed to providing tailored, results-driven tutoring. My goal is to empower students, boost their confidence, and equip them with the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
