Hello and welcome to my profile!
My name is Judy and I am a recent medical school graduate embarking on my residency journey this year. As a recent grad, I have experience and knowledge in teaching a wide array of subjects to pre-med and med students, including biology, physiology, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology, as well as clinical courses such as cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, and nephrology. I have experience in tutoring medical students for the USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2, NBME's, and the OET.

Additionally, as a former San Jose State University Peer Mentors Tutor and Teaching Assistant, I taught English, writing, study strategies, test-taking strategies, and more. I also have experience working with elementary school students teaching reading and writing as a Reading Partners Elementary school tutor. My expertise also encompasses standardized test preparation, including the SAT and ACT for college admissions.

I tailor each tutoring session to the individual student's needs, learning style, and goals. By actively listening and adapting my teaching methods, I create a unique learning experience that maximizes engagement and retention, ensuring each student receives the most effective and personalized instruction possible. I work with each of my students on setting goals for our tutoring sessions and working together to reach those goals.
