Hi there! I'm looking to do online or in-person tutoring for young children up to high school/early college students. I can help tutor any type of English or reading up to the high school level, or math coursework up to the high school level + multivariable calculus. I can also help tutor for standardized tests such as the SAT, or help craft/review college application essays.

I am a UC Berkeley alumnus. I've been working as a software engineer for major corporations in the Bay Area, including some big tech companies, and I have a passion for tutoring others.

I've always had an aptitude and excitement for teaching others. I've helped people extensively with standardized test preparation (such as the SAT); middle school + high school coursework in English, reading, and math from algebra to calculus; and essays for college applications. I've also done a lot of creative writing.

Relevant Qualifications:

-3.9 GPA at UC Berkeley (B.S. Electrical Engineering + Computer Science, graduated 2021, top 25% of my class, IEEE-HKN academic honor society member)
-5 on AP Calculus AB + BC
-800 on SAT writing, 780 on SAT Reading, 750 on SAT Math
-800 on SAT Math 2 Subject Test (tests up to precalculus)
-Straight A student through college in all courses, including all math/English courses
-Relevant math courses: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, multivariable calculus, discrete math, probability, linear algebra
-Relevant English courses: Honors English throughout high school, elective English courses in college such as Slavic and Southeast Asian literature
-Prior experience tutoring. I love seeing concepts click for others, and I'm skilled at explaining concepts from the ground-up and step-by-step so they are easy to learn. I am also a very patient and encouraging tutor.
