I think teenagers are fun to work with. Outside of normal lessons, I also conduct one-on-one and small group tutorial classes with students who needs extra help to make sure they are caught up with the progress. I especially like one-on-one lessons as I can improvise and customize the lesson to benefit the student's learning.
Other than students, I also enjoy communicating with parents to learn more about the students. It often helps me to understand how to assist the student better. I am currently tutoring students in different curricula, including IB, IGCSE, GCSE and A level Chemistry. I hope that my international teaching experience can give my students a better insight in learning Chemistry. I also taught Mathematics in school. With my background in science education, I like to bring mathematics into application so that students can see why they need to learn the topic.
My teaching experience allows me to identify what the students are struggling with quickly and can provide assistance to clear the confusion.
