Excellent tutor
I have been struggling with Python, and though I need to complete assignments, I am more interested in learning to code and understand the material. I was not sure if online tutoring would meet my needs, but I can say that Wyzant, and particularly Austin, have done just that. I sent Austin material prior to our first session so that he had a chance to review it. Not only did he efficiently use our tutoring time wisely by prepping beforehand, but he was patient and did a great job of explaining concepts, all of which I have retained in a way that I have not done with my professors. Moreover, he encourages me to think critically and use my knowledge base rather than just repeating information he may have provided. Very impressed with Austin's teaching skills, and plan to continue tutoring sessions with him indefinitely.

One of the best tutoring experiences I’ve had!
I’ve worked with many tutors in the past, and Austin really stands out as one of the best. He helped me with a Python assignment and was extremely thorough, patient, and good at explaining concepts. He prepared for the lesson beforehand and had a plan ready so we were able to jump right in. He was also able to explain concepts I haven’t learned in class yet and give me a head start in my coursework. I don’t think I’ve worked with a tutor as talented at making me feel comfortable and explaining difficult concepts as Austin. Highly recommend for future students!
