We chose Hawson as an SAT math tutor for our son, H. His teaching method has changed the way H tackles SAT math problems. Hawson is full of tips and tricks on how to solve math problems correctly and as quickly as possible. Using practice tests, H started out at a baseline score of 580 and brought it up by 100 points within the first few sessions. Hawson’s method utilizes a variety of resources and emphasizes repetition and practice. He reinforces correct procedures and troubleshoots and watches for erroneous logic or incorrect procedures as they come up. Hawson is enthusiastic about math (he is an accounting major) and it shows in his tutoring. He is concise, engaging and very personable. His lessons are aptly prepared and he does his best to ensure each session is worthwhile. We will continue to work with Hawson as we find him to be an excellent fit for our son.

He was very helpful when it came to teaching the material to me. I would choose him again when I’m struggling with any material. He also makes sure that you fully understand everything before continuing on to new material. This tutor really cares about the success of the people he’s tutoring. Highly recommend

Great Financial Accounting Tutor
I met with Hawson twice to help me prepare for my financial accounting exam. He was extremely helpful at teaching me all of the concepts and was able to explain the concepts I didn't understand. He was very patient and understanding the whole time and I improved my score a lot from my previous exam. I Highly recommend Hawson as a tutor!
