Hello! My name is Collin G. I am a 25 year-old originally from San Diego, California. I studied History and Spanish at Cal Poly Slo and was on the leadership board of our college chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, an Ocean Conservation non-profit. I spent extensive time tutoring students in English, Writing, and Spanish. After graduating from college, I spent a year teaching English as a Second Language in Madrid, Spain to secondary school and adult evening school students. I recently completed my Masters of Teaching and acquired a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Sciences. I am passionate in helping students achieve their academic and individual goals in reading, writing, language development, and history. Outside of tutoring, I am a long time intern at a sustainable urban farm in the city and love spending time trail running, biking, backpacking, and exploring the beautiful nature of the Bay Area and beyond.
