During my time at UCSB, I took General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Math up to differential equations. Using the skills from those classes, I have worked as a tutor for multiple students and helped them excel in those classes. As a law student, I TA'd for Contracts and Constitutional Law multiple times as well as led school-approved discussion sections. I was trained on how to teach students to effectively write essays and persuasively incorporate their learning materials.
I believe in motivating my students to use the lessons I teach them in new contexts and gain confidence in their knowledge. We will focus on learning the most important facts and not waste time on side details that are not as important.
