The Best Tutor I Have Ever Had - Hands Down, No Questions Asked
Dana is hands down, the best tutor I have ever had. I could write about his Ph.D. from Cal Tech, his experience teaching applied mathematics at MIT or his background in the financial industry working for top banks, but I’ll let you gather all of that from his profile (the list is seriously impressive). Despite all of the above, what I value the most, is Dana’s genuine desire to help me understand the concept (currently pursuing a Masters in Financial Engineering – getting tutored on various level of calculus + more topics in the future). I self-taught myself (poorly) a lot of the concepts I need to apply in the program. Not only does Dana have the background and understanding to see what concepts I have glanced over (and shouldn’t have) but his way of explaining them is top class. He can break down advanced concepts graphically, in the context of work or in the context of other problems. I truly feel he values seeing me progress as a student and internalize these concepts. This not only has the practical application of advancement of my knowledge, but it provides me with confidence to continue further. Dana – you truly are a great tutor and I really appreciate all the work you have done with me thus far. I will 100% be a student even after classes are done to continue my advancement of the subjects we are reviewing. Truly a 11/10 tutor!

An Incredible Find -- Advanced Math You Cannot Find Elsewhere!
It is incredibly hard to find a true math expert past a certain level. When my child decided he wanted to not just study math, but major in math (not my area of expertise) we wanted to find someone who would act as guide and mentor and Dana has been just that. He's been able to see what my child's weaknesses are ("you should review a little more here") but, most importantly, keep my kid engaged and also tell him areas where my son could and should explore. Together, they've talked through everything from calculus to linear algebra and differential equations (even partial differential equations). Depending on what my child needs, Dana can do traditional lectures, walk through practice problems, or just offer support and advice on what next class would be most interesting. We feel so lucky to have found Dana and cannot recommend him highly enough.
