As a tutor, I try to provide students with the skills they will continue to use during all of their years of studies. I work with each student separately, and I will fit their pace and needs accordingly.
I currently have a very flexible schedule, so setting up a meeting that works for both parties should not be a problem. I am also available for online tutoring!
As a high school student, I got to participate in several national and international mathematics competitions. Also, as a Computer Science major, I have taken higher level math courses that require me to be on top of my algebra skills. Lastly, I tutor college-level algebra in my university.
I am one of the tutors for my university's Writing Center. Here, I have had the opportunity to help students improve not only their essays and other writing assignments, but also their writing skills. I try to make students think more analytically by giving them real-world examples, as well as written ones of a more literary nature. I will help them understand the structure of an essay, what a prompt is asking, will make sure that they stay on track as they write, as well as teaching them how to cite sources. I make sure that all students go home having learned these skills a little more.
Growing up I studied the Spanish language for 16 years. I speak, write, and read, proficiently in Spanish.
As a Computer Science major, knowledgeable in JavaScript and web development, as well as having taken HTML courses before, I believe I can help increase and perfect your HTML skills.
