Yumiko is a wonderful teacher!
I have been taking lessons with Yumiko for several months now. She is a great teacher! She is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and fun! She is continuing to teach me how to use correct terms, words and challenging phrases in order to help me communicate effectively in Japanese. I grew up in Japan but haven’t spoken Japanese in the last 10 years. Yumiko has helped me build back my vocabulary and made me feel more comfortable and confident speaking Japanese again. She is a great teacher and a wonderful person!

Yumiko was very knowlegeable, patient, intuitive and kind.
It was my first lesson but I feel much more comfortable and less nervous. She is teaching me how to use correct terms, words and phrases in order to communicate what I want to say. I grew up there but haven't spoken Japanese in the last 10 years and even with just one lesson, I feel positive that she will help me be able to speak correctly and confidently once again. The lesson was fun, informative and a great experience!

Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor
Yumiko is an excellent teacher. She prepares relevant lessons, tailored to my needs. She understands the challenges of learning a language and is a stickler for pronunciation. Homework from Yumiko is enough for review and additional learning but not such much that it is overwhelming.
