About Linda

Bio

I am a registered nurse and specialize in helping RN and PN candidates prepare for the NCLEX licensing exam. Tutoring can be done face-to-face or on-line, using guided review of practice questions and other resources. Many of my successful students are non-native speakers of English or came to me with special challenges, such as severe test anxiety, dyslexia or other learning differences. I individualize my approach according to the needs, schedule and budget of each student.

In addition, I offer tutoring in ESL conversation and especially enjoy working with young children. If you are new to the city, I can plan lessons around visits to different neighborhoods and attractions.

Intelligent, kind and patient

Linda helped me concentrate and break down NCLEX questions. She taught me not to overthink the NCLEX questions. When I used what she taught me, the NCLEX became easier for me when I used my knowledge, she is an amazing tutor and teacher, Thank you Linda.

Great Tutor

Linda is extremely helpful! She is personable, patient, and non-judgmental. She will talk you through a problem or scenario until you fully understand the answer and rationale. I highly recommend her to anyone who is struggling with NCLEX prep.

Knowledgeable and Patient and Informative Tutor

Best Tutor I know. She is very knowledgeable and forces you to think until you get it. Love her and I wouldn't be as far as I am now without her. I highly recommend her. She's an expert. 🤗

this Tudor knows her stuff!

I have been so blessed to have linda as a tudor. I started taking lessons with linda while starting my third go at the NClEX. I have never been a good test taker and I have testing anxiety. I had diligently worked so hard on the first two attempts but couldn't make it over the passing line I had taken Hurst, ATI, and the questions with NCSBN and still ahdn't made it. I looked online and found wyzant and specifically Linda. I'm always skeptical using a online program I've never heard of before and didn't know what to expect but after reading all teh reviews like this one I give Linda a shot and I'm so glad I did. The third time I took my NCLEX I passed it in 75 questions where as the first 2 times it had taken me 265 questions and I hadn't passed either time. Linda specializes her teaching based on where you at so it will be different for everyone, but she really knows her stuff. If I could do it all again I was have done this my first test don't miss out on a great and kind teacher! Thanks Linda!

Gave Good Studying Strategies

Linda understood me and is figuring out where my weaknesses are for NCLEX questions. She is very easy to talk to and I'm happy she is going to help guide me in better studying skills.

Patient and knowledgeable

Linda teaches me in her own way. She suggested what I should have studied earlier and what I should have studied later. She also taught me how to manage my time to start an effective study. She provided me her own material and went over each point which I may miss it or have problem for understanding the questions. Recommend Lisa for ESL students and the students who want to success in passing NCLEX exam.

Very Helpful and Knowledgeable!

Linda is an AMAZING tutor and makes me feel so much more confident about passing the NCLEX. She reviews various questions and rationales in depth, while teaching me various strategies on how to get to the right answer. I can't wait for many more sessions with Linda!

Great Tutor

We went over different recommended study materials, plan for the next couple weeks, and practice questions. We also went over slowing down the number of tests taken each week to focus on quality of questions, not quantity. She is patient, knowledgeable, and nonjudgmental.
