I'm a software engineer and mathematician based in San Francisco. I studied Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Florida (GPA: 3.94) and spent two years at Microsoft working on large-scale data and machine learning systems — math wasn't just my major, it's been the foundation of my career.

I tutored fellow students throughout college and genuinely enjoy breaking down concepts that feel overwhelming at first. My approach is flexible: some students need to understand the "why" behind a concept before the steps click, others just want to work through problems together until the pattern becomes clear. I adapt to what works for you.
I'm available for online sessions and work with students across the country. Whether you're building a foundation in Algebra, working through Calculus, or prepping for the SAT or ACT, I'd love to help you get there.

Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

I got a perfect 36 on the ACT Math section, and went on to study Mathematics and Computer Science at UF so I know this material inside and out. ACT Math is really about working fast and not falling for traps, and that's what I focus on in sessions. We'll drill the question types that show up most, cut down on careless mistakes, and build the kind of confidence that comes from actually being prepared.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I studied Math and CS at UF and have been using algebra as a building block ever since. Algebra 1 is where a lot of students either start to click with math or lose the thread — I've seen both and know where the common sticking points are. I'm patient and flexible, so whether you need to slow down on a specific concept or just want someone to work through problems with you, we'll figure out what works.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have a math degree from UF and tutored fellow students throughout college, so Algebra 2 is very familiar territory for me. This is usually where math starts feeling abstract and a little overwhelming — polynomials, complex numbers, logarithms — and I find most students just need someone to make it click rather than throw more formulas at them. That's what I try to do.
Calculus

Calculus

I got 5s on both AP Calc AB and BC, studied Math at UF, and ended up using calculus-heavy concepts professionally at Microsoft. I've tutored calculus before and genuinely enjoy it — there's something satisfying about the moment limits and derivatives finally make intuitive sense. Whether you're in AP Calc, Calc 1, or Calc 2, we'll work at whatever pace you need.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I scored an 800 on SAT Math and an 800 on the Math Subject Test, and went on to study Math and CS at UF with a 3.94 GPA. SAT Math is very learnable — a lot of it comes down to knowing which topics to prioritize, recognizing the patterns they test repeatedly, and not letting the clock shake you. That's what we'll work on together.
