I’m a Stanford graduate with professional experience in admissions counseling, academic mentorship, and youth development. Most recently, I worked as an Education Coordinator at a San Francisco nonprofit supporting students ages 16–24 in reaching their academic and career goals. Over the course of my work there, I conducted more than 300 one-on-one mentorship sessions supporting students with college applications, essay writing, scholarship applications, academic planning, and long-term goal setting. I’ve worked with students from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, including first-generation college applicants, transfer students, and students navigating significant academic pressure.
Academically, I completed graduate research in media psychology at Stanford, where I co-authored published research manuscripts and developed extensive experience in research, writing, and communication. In my time as a teaching assistant, I also wrote and graded college-level exams, which gave me insight into how instructors evaluate student work and how students can prepare more effectively for tests, essays, and applications. I specialize in college admissions counseling, academic writing, statistics, sciences, and history, but I’m comfortable supporting most high school subjects. Whether your student needs homework support, help building confidence in school, or guidance through the college admissions process, I aim to tailor my approach to each individual student’s needs.
I’m available for online and house-visit tutoring services. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a free consultation with you and your student.
