I have a multidisciplinary background spanning data science and economics. I am currently studying at Minerva University, where my coursework and research have focused heavily on statistics, econometrics, data analysis, and computational methods using Python and R. My academic and project experience includes building data pipelines, statistical analysis, satellite and climate data processing, machine learning workflows, and quantitative research. I regularly use Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and GeoPandas, as well as R for statistical modeling, visualization, and econometric analysis. In addition to technical work, I have experience explaining quantitative concepts to students and peers with different levels of technical background, which has strengthened my ability to teach complex topics in an accessible and structured way.

For Vietnamese tutoring, I am a native Vietnamese speaker with experience helping both heritage learners and non-native learners improve conversational fluency, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and writing. I adapt lessons depending on the student’s goals, whether they are learning Vietnamese for travel, family communication, academic purposes, or professional use. My teaching approach emphasizes practical communication, contextual vocabulary, and gradual confidence-building through interactive exercises and real-world examples.

I focus on concept-first teaching, by helping students understand the intuition behind methods before moving into coding implementation and applied exercises. I also help students work through assignments, debug code, interpret statistical outputs, and develop independent problem-solving skills rather than only memorizing procedures.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and highly adaptive to individual learning pace. I prioritize creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence over time.

Approved Subjects

Data Analysis

Data Analysis

I am a Data Science and research assistant at Minerva University’s Sustainability Lab, where I work with real-world datasets using R and Python. My experience includes building reproducible data pipelines, performing statistical analysis, and applying regression and modeling techniques to environmental and geospatial data. I regularly work with satellite-derived datasets and translate complex quantitative results into clear, interpretable insights. I focus on helping students build strong fundamentals in statistics and data analysis while gaining practical coding skills used in real research and industry settings.
Data Science

Data Science

I specialize in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning using Python and real-world datasets. My experience includes remote sensing, geospatial analytics, predictive modeling, and working with satellite and environmental data through tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and Google Earth Engine. I have built projects involving change detection, disaster assessment, and agricultural water analysis, giving me strong practical experience beyond classroom theory. I enjoy helping students connect mathematical concepts to real analytical applications and industry-style workflows.
Econometrics

Econometrics

I am a Data Science student at Minerva University with advanced coursework in econometrics, including experimental and quasi-experimental methods, machine learning, and Bayesian statistics. As a research assistant at Minerva’s Sustainability Lab, I build econometric-style models and structured measurement systems using R and Python to evaluate policy interventions, including irrigation and environmental programs. My work includes two-way fixed effects panel models, regression analysis, and robustness testing applied to real-world datasets such as satellite, agricultural, and public policy data. I specialize in helping students understand econometrics not just theoretically, but through practical implementation and interpretation in real policy and data science contexts.
GIS

GIS

I have experience working with GIS, remote sensing, and spatial data analysis through academic research and applied data science projects focused on environmental and climate-related systems. My work includes processing and analyzing geospatial datasets using Python-based GIS workflows, satellite imagery, raster and vector data, and tools commonly used in spatial analysis and mapping. I have worked with topics such as land use, agriculture, hydrology, disaster assessment, and Earth observation data, including SAR and multispectral satellite imagery. In tutoring, I focus on helping students build both conceptual understanding and practical technical skills, including spatial data handling, visualization, geoprocessing workflows, and reproducible analytical methods.
Machine Learning/ AI

Machine Learning/ AI

I have hands-on experience building and analyzing machine learning models for real-world applications, including computer vision, satellite imagery analysis, and environmental modeling. My work has involved neural networks, deep learning architectures, feature engineering, and model evaluation using Python frameworks and scientific computing tools. I am particularly experienced in explaining complex AI concepts in a structured and intuitive way, including supervised learning, model training, and data preprocessing. I aim to help students build both conceptual understanding and practical implementation skills that transfer to projects, research, and technical interviews.
Vietnamese

Vietnamese

I am a native Vietnamese speaker with experience helping both beginner and heritage learners improve conversational fluency, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and everyday communication skills. Because I am fully bilingual in Vietnamese and English, I can clearly explain grammar, vocabulary usage, cultural context, and common pronunciation challenges for English-speaking learners. My teaching style is patient, adaptive, and conversation-focused, with lessons tailored to each student’s goals, whether for travel, family communication, professional use, or long-term fluency development. I also emphasize practical, real-world Vietnamese rather than memorization alone, helping students build confidence using the language naturally.
