I’m a rising senior at the University of San Francisco double-majoring in Psychology and Political Science, with minors in Public Policy and Legal Studies. I carry a 3.98 GPA as an Honors College student and have made the Dean’s List every semester — so I know what rigorous academic work looks like and how to help others get there.
My most direct teaching experience comes from serving as a Teaching Assistant in USF’s Psychology Department, where I supported over 100 students through weekly drop-in sessions and small-group discussions. I helped students break down complex social psychology concepts, gave feedback on written work, and assisted with course design. Beyond the classroom, I’ve worked as a research assistant in USF’s Love & Communication Laboratory, where I coded hundreds of qualitative survey responses and applied statistical reliability measures — experience that makes me well-equipped to help students navigate research methods, data interpretation, and academic writing at any level.
I’ve also spent time in high-stakes professional writing environments — drafting policy memos as a legislative intern in the U.S. Senate and writing public speeches for a San Francisco city supervisor — which sharpened my ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. I’m comfortable tutoring in psychology, political science, social science writing, essay development, and research skills. I work best one-on-one and tailor my approach to each student, whether that means slowing down on foundational concepts or pushing someone to sharpen an already-solid argument.
