I hold a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley (4.0 GPA) and am a certified EMT (NREMT). My teaching spans both ends of the academic spectrum; from K-12 through college-level biology, chemistry, and physiology, to MCAT and NREMT exam preparation, to the full medical school application process including personal statements, secondaries, and interview coaching.
I've worked as a tutor at UC Berkeley's Student Learning Center, a teacher with Teach for India, and an EMT instructor with multiple cohorts through NREMT certification. I know these exams and processes from the inside, which means I can tell you not just what to study, but how to think about it — and how to present yourself.
My approach is highly individualized. I don't run students through a template; I figure out where they actually are, what's in the way, and how to move them forward efficiently. For application coaching specifically, I focus on helping students identify what genuinely distinguishes them and translate that into writing that earns attention.
