I graduated from Western Colorado University in 2016. Originally, I began my studies as a math major and changed to music early on. I taught PreK-8th Grade music at Vista Ridge Academy in Boulder, CO and also served as assistant conductor of the Boulder Symphony and Arapahoe Youth Orchestra. I moved to San Francisco in 2017 to pursue my work in painting and poetry. I am a published poet and accomplished painter having sold my work in galleries in San Francisco, as well as founding the Coit Tower Poetry Club—a monthly event dedicated to introducing poets and poetry lovers to lesser known writers. Learning an instrument? I am your teacher! I have played the guitar and several other string instruments for over 15 years and have been teaching them just as long. Learning a language? I am able to instruct in English and in Spanish!
I am able to teach on many subjects because my interests are widespread. I believe learning is wholistic—that one subject leads to another and they are all interlaced.
