Hello! I’m Stas — a Korean language tutor with a strong academic background and real teaching experience at the university level.
I hold a Master’s-equivalent degree in Korean Linguistics and Translation from Irkutsk State Linguistic University, and I have been working with the Korean language for more than ten years.
I previously taught Korean at a university, where I worked with both beginner and intermediate students, prepared learners for exams, coordinated academic programs, and helped international students develop strong communication skills. I also have experience teaching Korean to adults in online one-on-one lessons, customizing materials to fit each student’s goals, needs, and learning style.
My Teaching Style
My approach is clear, structured, and supportive.
At the start of each topic, I provide a short explanation of the grammar point or key structure so students fully understand the concept. Then we move through several levels of exercises — from simple to more complex — followed by practical speaking or writing tasks. I aim to make Korean grammar easy, logical, and enjoyable, even for complete beginners.
