A little about me: I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Ludong University in Shandong, China. I began my teaching career over a decade ago and have taught Mandarin in both Asia and the United States, working with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. My experience includes teaching Mandarin immersion, Chinese language, and culture at the elementary and middle school levels.

I am a California-credentialed Mandarin teacher, holding a Single Subject Credential in Chinese, a Multiple Subjects Credential, and a Bilingual Authorization in Mandarin (BCLAD).

In my teaching, I emphasize creating a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves in Mandarin. I believe that learning a language is more than memorizing words—it’s about connecting with people, understanding culture, and building confidence step by step.

I offer online Mandarin lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, tailored to each student’s goals—whether you want to improve conversation skills, prepare for exams, or develop reading and writing proficiency.
