Hi, I’m Lars M., a professional DJ and music producer who recently moved to San Francisco from Berlin. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve released music on some of the most respected house and electronic music labels, including Golden Recordings, Nervous, Katermukke, Stil Vor Talent, and Kittball. I’ve collaborated with legends like Boris Dlugosch and Robert Owens and remixed top artists such as Grammy-winner Purple Disco Machine and Claptone. I’ve performed at iconic venues and festivals worldwide, including Watergate Berlin, Pacha Ibiza, Printworks London, Tomorrowland, and Fusion Festival, giving me a wealth of real-world experience that I bring directly to my students.
While I haven’t held formal teaching positions, I’ve spent years mentoring and guiding aspiring producers and DJs one-on-one, helping them turn ideas into fully finished tracks and build confidence in their skills. My lessons are hands-on and practical: you’ll learn Ableton Live, MIDI, sampling, arrangement, synth and effect sound design, mixing, mastering, and even insights into label releases, DJ gigs, and networking. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you’re just starting out, refining your production workflow, or creating your own tracks as a DJ. I focus on fast, actionable results and teach techniques that work across genres — from house and techno to pop, hip hop, breaks, or anything uniquely yours.
