Hello! I'm Teodora, and I’m passionate about helping students master SAT, AP testing, as well as high school-level Math and Physics. I am pursuing a BSc in Math and Computer Science at Minerva University (#1 Most Innovative University in the World). I've recently moved my tutoring business online after a 3-year experience in preparing students for testing for the SAT, AP Calc/Precalc, and high school subjects of Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry.
My tutoring journey began through volunteer 1-on-1 SAT prep sessions, where I helped juniors improve their scores into the 98th percentile. Since then I have helped students drastically increase their scores, grades, and confidence in mathematics and their ability to sit through standardized testing. I've also co-founded and led an after-school STEM club for students that I ran for 4 years, designing interactive sessions for students ages 13–17 and lab practice.
My teaching philosophy centers on innovative ways to approach students and help them utilize their greatest potential. In my lessons, I implement discussions about the students' progress and strengths, active learning techniques, and communicating how we can make our lessons more productive.
