I’m a History major and Dean’s List student at Wheaton College (IL), where I also study politics, economics, and philosophy as a PPE Fellow. With a strong foundation in writing—including historical analysis and essay skills—I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically.
I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students—ages 11–13 during a service-learning trip, focusing on foundational reading comprehension, and ages 4–7 weekly through story-based lessons that include biblical material in an engaging and meaningful presentation. Whether one-on-one or in small groups, I help students connect ideas through storytelling, developing critical thinking, and improving their writing—all tailored to each student's pace and interests. My unique approach is centered on breaking down essay prompts, creating outlines, and knowing the replicable steps in a revision process. I firmly believe having good writing disciplines-- and not innate eloquence or the lack thereof-- is the most important factor in predicting a student's future academic success. I’m committed to supporting growth in critical thinking, reading, and writing across Biblical Studies, Essay Writing, Thesis Writing, and even more general types of Writing, always tailoring sessions to your student’s goals with honesty and care.
