Hi, I'm Vivienne! I studied Math at Yale University and Engineering at Stanford. I tutor high school and college math, including:
- Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus
- Integrated Math
- AP and IB Math
- SAT Math (note: I do tutor SAT Reading & Writing; I do not tutor for the ACT)

I love working with exceptional students — and I define “exceptional” broadly. Sometimes it means scoring 800s on the SAT and earning admission to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, and other top universities. Other times, it means having unique learning differences and finding math challenging in ways your peers might not. Both ends of that spectrum resonate with me deeply.

I believe every student can excel and even enjoy math with the right support. My approach is tailored to each learner’s strengths, aptitudes, and preferred learning style. My goal is to make math both understandable and rewarding for you.

Each 50-minute lesson includes:
- A targeted topic review
- Guided practice questions
- Additional practice for homework (if requested)
- A report including topic covered, strengths & weaknesses, and suggestions for further study

Behind the scenes, I invest an extra 15 minutes in preparation and 10 minutes in writing your report after each session. I don't charge for prep time, but I do charge for report writing. This reflects the thorough and intentional way I run my business — so that every minute we spend together is impactful.
