We mainly went over CARS passages and occasionally reviewed other topics in other sections I was having trouble with, such as the systems in the body. My CARS has, without a doubt, improved so much after learning from Alexander - reflected both in my confidence in tackling different passages and my scores. He provides strategies that you don't typically see in the Kaplan textbooks or other MCAT CARS guides, but they actually work and make sense. When he is explaining his tips and tricks, he explains in a way that is very easily digestible and you don't get lost in his words. Alexander is a really good tutor and I really wish I met him sooner for my MCAT prep. He is extremely patient and has a way of making you understand difficult MCAT questions in a very easy way. Preparing for the MCAT is difficult and he made it more manageable. He taught me techniques that I can use for test day especially for understanding difficult CARS passages and strategies on how to tackle complicated B/B questions.
