Hi, I'm Olya, I graduated from UC San Diego in 2020 with a bachelor's in Physiology and Neuroscience. During my time at UCSD, I worked as a tutor for three years and as a peer educator for a year and a half. My experience in the biological sciences inspired me to pursue a career in health law and I am planning on applying to law school next year.
I started studying for the LSAT in July of last year with a diagnostic test score of 159 and scored a 170 on my official LSAT exam in November of 2020 (and up to 175 on practice tests). I have an incredibly strong understanding of the best strategies and approaches to each section and can easily and comprehensively guide someone through them.
My ultimate goal as a tutor is to change the way you approach this exam. The LSAT is uniquely challenging in that it requires test takers to completely change their way of thinking. However, despite its initial difficulty, there are clear and distinct patterns that underlie each LSAT section, and mastering these patterns is a surefire way to boost your score significantly. I believe with enough time and patience, and with the right approach, anyone can achieve their dream score.
Free Initial Consultation: I offer a free 30-minute consultation session before our first official tutoring session where we can discuss your prior LSAT experience and needs, learning style, schedule, and goals. This can also serve as an opportunity to evaluate if we are a good fit for each other.
I hope I can help you on your LSAT journey!
I scored in the 97th percentile on my official LSAT exam. Since then, I've continued to study the test to thoroughly explore the ins and outs of each section and perfect my approach for each question type. I believe that the LSAT is learnable as long as you have enough time and the right approach and I'm here to make your journey easier!
