I am Lindy. I have both a bachelor’s degree majoring in accounting and economics as well as an honors bachelor’s degree majoring in economics. Both degrees were attained from the University of South Africa. My main areas of study involved Financial Accounting. Cost and Management Accounting, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, including Monetary, Public, Development and International Economics. Throughout my studies, I achieved various distinctions, academic awards of excellence as well as the second highest grade in Public Economics at an honors level.

My tutoring career began around 1992 when I was offered a tutoring position by the college I was attending. And as they say, “…the rest is history” I love what I do! I am a passionate educator who ensures that each student has a solid grasp of the study material at hand. In this manner, every test and exam can be tackled with confidence, ensuring the best possible outcome. I have taught large groups of students at both a High School and College level as well as tutoring small groups or one on one. In 2016 I moved with my family from Johannesburg, South Africa to San Diego. In the past five years, I have tutored, as well as taught AP Macroeconomics in a private high school.

My students all love the fact that they leave each lesson with handwritten notes tailor made just for them. We also tackle plenty of examples of the material to make 100% sure the concepts are solidified and perfectly understood.
