I have a Masters from CSU Fullerton and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University. What sets me apart from other tutors is the value I place on communication. Not everyone learns the same way, and I'm talented at finding different ways to explain the same concept so that I can gage what works best for each student. Not only do we do Math problems on paper, but we talk about options the student is considering and discuss reasoning for the choices we make while solving them. Depending on the student, I also include hand-written notes from each session that includes helpful notes on topics that the student struggled with during our tutoring session.
