Hey, I'm Goral! I'm currently a graduate student pursuing my Masters Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning at UC San Diego. I graduated from Virginia Tech a few years ago with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Modeling & Data Analytics. I've been tutoring students in Math and Programming ever since I was a senior in high school. As a student who has recently graduated high school, I understand the types of questions that are asked on the SATs, ACTs, and AP exams, and I can provide the techniques needed to break down those tricky questions into smaller parts making it easier for students to understand and solve them efficiently - whether it's about AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Computer Science A, AP Psychology, AP Statistics, etc.

I've tutored students in AP Computer Science/Java since I was in high school as a teaching assistant, which has allowed me to gain certain skills that easily translate over when I tutor students in Python. I've taken both the Introductory and Intermediate Programming in Python courses at my college. I've hosted Python workshops in the summer for students (ranging from high school students to graduate students pursuing their Master's) to familiarize them with Python and some of their scientific computing libraries, such as Pandas and Matplotlib.

Here are just some of the courses that I've taken myself at Virginia Tech that I'm able to help with: Intro to Computer Organization, Intro to Python, Intermediate Programming in Python, Intro to Problem Solving in CS, Data Structures and Algorithms, Comparative Languages, Cloud Software Development, Cryptography, several statistics and data science courses, etc.

I’m also knowledgeable in concepts such as Kubernetes/Docker, Linux, Haskell, Pascal, Rust, Racket, Ruby, Scala, SQL, etc.
