Hi, I'm Madelyn N.! I graduated Temecula Valley High School and currently go Cal Poly San Luis Obispo aspiring to get my degree in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering. As a second-year, I am loving the quarter system and am learning a lot from my fellow peers and professors. During my first quarter, I've adapted to not just COVID-19, but also the way I tutor. I like to make lesson plans and create problems for students to solve. I like to find fun and interesting ways to go about teaching math in order to make it more enjoyable, while still including the concepts. I never move to the next piece of material without knowing students clearly comprehend the subject at hand. With all this said, my teaching method is specifically tailored towards the student when I see the best way they learn.

My tutoring experiences ranges from elementary school math all the way up to calculus. I work at Mathnasium where I'd be in settings working with 3-4 people at a time or private sessions with only 1 student. In addition, everyday in high school I'd tutor Algebra and Spanish. I love to help students grow in their knowledge and see the "light bulb" moment they go through when they connect two and two together. I'm easy to reach and a quick responder. I have years of experience tutoring math and have not just a passion for the subject but for helping others understand it better too. I work at Mathnasium which is a place that offers tutoring tailored towards math and love finding ways that can educate others to understand math concepts better. The college degree that I aspire to acquire is very math heavy, so I constantly am flexing those muscles.
